Two letters from Geo. Heneage to Lord Middleton, on the appointment of the second Rev. Rowland Curtois to the Living of Sixhills. These are from the manuscripts library of Nottingham University [Refs. Mi E 8/13 and Mi E 9/14]. The Heneage family were (and still are) the village squires at Hainton (the next village to Sixhills), and would have known the Curtois family through the incumbency of the first Rev. Rowland Curtois (this one's grandfather) at Hainton.
