On Thursday last, at St. Phillip's Church, Kensington, Lisle Henry, eldest son of the Rev. Atwill Curtois, of the Longhills, Rector of Branston, from 1847 to 1868, and Ann Henrietta, second daughter of the Rev. D. H. Lee Warner, of Walsingham Abbey, Norfolk, was married to Cecilia Mary Elizabeth, eldest daughter of the late Mr. S. S. Buck, of Ashford, near Staines, Middlesex. The officiating clergy were the Rev. J. C. Rust, Vicar of Soham, Cambridgeshire, and Rural Dean, assisted by the Rev. Huntley Curtois, Vicar of Croxton, Norfolk (brother of the bridegroom), and the Rev. W. Smale, Vicar of the parish. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr. Ball, of Staines, Miss Ball acting as bridesmaid. The Rev. Algernon Curtois, of Lincoln, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Appropriate selections of music were played by the organist. The bride and bridegroom have been the recipients of many wedding presents from relations and friends. After the ceremony they left for Exeter, en route for Lamorna, near Penzance. Among those present, in addition to those already mentioned, were: Miss Dering Curtois, Miss Margaret Curtois, Miss Florence Curtois, Mr. D. H. Lee Warner Curtois, Mrs. Atwill and Miss Beryl Curtois, Miss Emily A. Curtois, the Rev. Herbert and Mrs. Howard, Mr. and Mrs. Donkin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ball and family. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Curtois, of the Wolds, Pemberley Avenue, Bedford, were prevented from attending by the recent death of Miss J. Procter, sister of Mrs. Arthur Curtois. A wedding peal was rung at Washingborough.
