This is the last will and testament of me John Curtois of Harmston in the County of Lincoln Clerk first I give and devise to Peregrine Curtois of Branston in the County of the City of Lincoln the only son of Peregrine Harrison Curtois of Branston aforesaid Clerk all my share right and interest in the Prebend of Welton Beckhall in the County of Lincoln founded in the cathedral church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln and all my share right and interest in the Lands Meadows Inclosures Houses Buildings Advowsons and right of presentation to the vicarage of Welton in the said County of Lincoln belonging and in all other the hereditaments and Emoluments whatsoever to the said Prebend belonging and also all my Messuages Lands Tenements and Heredits whatsoever and parts and shares thereof in Welton near Lincoln in the said County of Lincoln and now in the tenure of Alexander Hill (?Bell ?Kell) or his Undertenants to hold to him the said Peregrine Curtois the younger his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever according to the quality of the said Estate and provisos also I give and bequeath to my Servant Mary Gaunt the sum of Fifty Pounds to my servant Olivia Clark the sum of twenty pounds to Richard Oates of Louth in the County of Lincoln Linen Draper the sum of three hundred pounds to ? Bryant ffawcet of Heppinton in the County of Kent Gentleman the sum of three hundred pounds and to my Nephew the Reverend Rowland Curtois of South Willingham in the said County of Lincoln Clerk the sum of three hundred and fifty pounds which said several legacies I do hereby direct shall by paid by my executor within six Months after my decease out of my personal estate which I expressly charge with the payment thereof and also with the payment of my debts and ffuneral Expenses All the Rest and residue of my Personal Estate I give and Bequeath to the said Peregrine Curtois the younger and appoint him Executor of my will in witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament set my hand this first day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Two - John Curtois - Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator John Curtois as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator and of each other - Hen Rutter JR. This Will was proved at London on the third day of November One thousand eight hundred and two before the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Slight (?) Doctor of Laws and ? ? or commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of the Reverend Peregrine Curtois the younger Clerk the Nephew of the deceased and the sole executor named in the said Will to whom Administration was Granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having been first sworn by Commision duly to administer
