WASHINGBOROUGH —Christ Church, Eaton, Ipswich, was on Tuesday afternoon the scene of an interesting wedding, the contractingparties being Miss Jane Eiizabeth Williams, of Penpon Eaton, and the Rev. Huntley Curtois,Vicar of Croxton. Norfolk. The bride was the only daughter of the late Rev Henry Williams, formerly Rector of Rockland All Saints with St. Andrew, and for 39 years Vicar of Croxton, Norfolk, and the bridegroom is the son of the Rev. Atwill Curtois, late of Branston. The bride was given away by her uncle (Dr. Moore), was attended by two bridesmaids. She wore acharming dress of ivory merve satin, trimmed with handsome old Honiton lace, given by Miss Margaret Curtois, sister of the bridegroom, while she also wore a Honiton veil which was worn by the bridegroom's mother, and was lent for the occasion by Miss Dering Curtois, sister of the bridegroom. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Her jewellery consisted of a spray of heather set with pearls, the gift of the bridegroom, and bracelets. The bridesmaids were Miss Edith Curtois (sister of the bridegroom), and Miss Alice le Strange Herring (daughter of Capt le Strange Herring). They were becomingly attired in gowns of grey crepon over pink silk, and wore black hats trimmed with ostrich feathers. They wore gold bracelets, the gift of the bridegroom, and carried bouquets of pink carnations. The Rev. Algernon Curtois (brother of the bridegroom) acted as best man. The officiating clergymen were the Rev. Ambrose J. Williams (brother of the bride and curate-in-charge of Alvington, Gloucestershire), the Rev. C. R. Digby (Vicar of Merten, Coventrv), the Rev. T. Fitzpatrick (President of Queen's College. Cambridge), and the the Rev A. Sutton (Vicar of Brant Broughton). The service was fully choral, the singing of the hymns "The Voice that breathed o'er Eden," "O, perfect love," and "Now thank we all our God," being led by the surpliced choir. Subsequently a reception was held at the Thatched Assembly Rooms, a large number of guests attending. Later in the afternoon, the bride and bridegroom left for Belgium, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's travelling costume consisted of a grey-faced cloth, with grey ? to match.
